Spoiler Alert: Today we give thanks for a profession where we truly are better together.
I am forever thankful I do not spend my days working in an environment where coworkers are constantly trying to one-up each other. Teachers bring out the best in one another and I hope today's reflection encourages you to continue making time for your colleagues.
FIRST UP: One of the most exciting projects I've seen come to fruition this year is William Perry's Piano Music Database.
As a connoisseur of supplemental repertoire, I have GREAT admiration for what William is building here: a music database that is endlessly-searchable by theme, composer, difficulty, and (so much!) more.
I recommend all teachers try out the free account. If you want access to everything the database has to offer, there is an upgrade available for PMD Plus.
