The (5 min) video, above, introduces our fifth (and final!) point of gratitude for the week.
Today, we're giving thanks for the enormous network of colleagues and creators who sustain us in our work.
I say it every year... but we can't be the teachers we are without those who produce quality materials to work with. Let's be intentional about showing them gratitude.
May we never neglect to celebrate those who created the materials that help us look good. ๐ฅ
Giveaway UPDATES:
Congratulations to Melene Sexton for winning a FREE 60-minute consultation with me. I can't wait to chat! ๐ค

PS: I'll be limiting my number of consultation sessions in December, and January always fills up fast. If you've ever heard me say something on the podcast and thought, "Hmm. I'd love to talk more about that!", this is your chance. Check out details on booking a 1-1 session by clicking here.

As we head into a new year and many of us go on the hunt for "the perfect planner", I'll cast my vote for Monk Manual!
Use code BEYONDMEASURE at Monk Manual checkout to save 10% off your purchase. Monk Manual does give me a small percentage of any sales made with that code... but I would share their products with you regardless because I am thoroughly in love.

Reminder: If you are still interested in exploring the Studio Foundations Course, you can save 25% with code studioteacherthanksgiving. Offer expires at midnight - eastern time - TODAY (11.22).
AND NOW: For TODAY'S Giveaway!
...there's a backstory here...
As I said in today's reflection, I try to be intentional about thanking the creators whose work I admire. This goes double for those who create so much FREE content.
When I find myself consuming a lot of someone's content for free, I try my best to find a way to purchase something from them.
Let it be known: notes of encouragement really do go a long way, but so does cash! ๐
For our final giveaway today, I wanted to (1) gift you something EXTRA GREAT, and (2) put some money in the pocket of a creator I felt good about supporting.
If you're familiar with Janna's YouTube Channel, you know she has a knack for demystifying historical performance practices.
I *know* this is content teachers need (and want!). To say THANK YOU for spending this week with me, I'm purchasing access to the course for one lucky respondent today.
To enter: Simply reply to today's message and tell me about a composer/publisher/creator YOU love to support. Submit your reply by 10:00pm (eastern time) to be considered for the giveaway.
*I will notify the winner by Monday, 11.25
WRAPPING UP:
This year's Studio Teacher Thanksgiving has been my favorite yet.
I'll confess: as I was preparing for this year's event, I kept asking myself if anyone would care about these thoughts. Your enthusiastic participation has brightened my (wild!) week in ways you'll never know. Thanks for sharing your hearts with me this week, my friends!
Additional offerings from Christina and Beyond Measure Podcast:
Music Recommendations: You know I love helping connect piano teachers with engaging repertoire! See a (tiny!) handful of a few favorite collections here.
Stay Tuned for Updates: My Benefit Concert in the Planetarium is tonight! I'll be sure to keep you posted on how everything goes. ๐ซ
Teacher Resources: A collection of video resources I've compiled to help your work remain satisfying for the long haul.
Check out the Beyond Measure Community on Patreon. Joining the Patreon Community is a gift to me AND a gift to yourself.
I've been off the sticker train for years. Stamps are more affordable, easier to store, and don't require students to choose their favorite. (If you know, you know). ๐ Find these (and more!) on my favorites list. โ
